I did when I was younger, but I didn't like it...it always made me nervous.

I was invited to one, once upon a time. Towards the end, I found myself with sharpie all over my face, paper stuffed down my shirt, trying to console the girl that would become one of my few real friends. T'was an unusual experience...

I don't like birthday parties. Or parties.

Yeah, I've been to some. Not in the past year however; I was invited to one, but I declined. (It was for a few reasons: I hadn't really been friends with the birthday girl for about a year, I've been to her parties before - loud and crazy, not so much fun for me -, I didn't (don't) want to rejoin her group, and I had to leave for a trip the very next day anyway.)

I've never really had much fun at birthday parties... I remember that at one of my birthday parties (I was four or five; I think five, but I'm not entirely sure), they started popping balloons (eek! I hated that noise), and I ran into my room and locked the door. Not the best way to act...

You're right. It makes me nervous as well. I remember visiting a birthday party every now and then as a child. Nowadays I am hardly invited for parties. Maybe it is because I am not a very "social" person.

All throughout primary school (1-7); after that life went downhill fast....

I liked popping balloons. :) (I like explosions, gunshots, lightning and other loud stuff that’s “quick”; a whole heap of talking and/or yelling “adults” is something that makes me run away and hide; kids are fine.)
