Abilify started to make me suffer even worse than before and my psychiatrist let me go off of it. In the coming week, I’ll be able to have an appointment to discuss getting the TMS treatment again and hopefully I will be able to actually undergo it. I have suffered from depression for many years now and something really needs to be done about it.

That's awesome, I hope you're able to undergo treatment. I've never done TMS, but I am doing neurofeedback right now. I just finished my third session and haven't noticed anything yet, but I'm hopeful I will by the time treatment is complete. Do let us know how it goes.

Good luck Marknis. I'm glad your doctor is trying to help.

It’s a great sign that you want to “do something about it.”

I hope this will “cure” the constant depression that plagues me every day. I don’t know how I made it this far and I don’t know how much longer I can continue with this.

I’m already thinking about being 50 and still suffering.

Don’t think about being 50. You never know what might happen.

When I was 32, I had notions about how I would be when I’m 50. I was wrong.

I’m 59.....and the notions are STILL wrong.

the fact that he can imagine being 50 yrs old could be a good sign , i might suppose .
please remember no caffiene of any kind just before or again after the treatments, i mean to say caffiene with NOT help the longevity of the effects of your treatments, REGARDING Tms. Stimulants will shorten the effects of TMS , based on first hand info.

I have an appointment tomorrow that will hopefully get me scheduled to actually undergo the procedure. The depression has worsened to where I can’t sleep at night without medicine to knock me out and I keep thinking about death. I can’t enjoy anything about life, actually live in the present moment, and feel like I have no reason to live because I am just going to die some day.
