In a few days I am going into hospital for major surgery and a long recovery is anticipated due to various factors. I'm announcing here (because it is more likely to be read by more members) that I am unavailable for mod requests via PM until further notice. Please use the other means of reporting (the attention thread, report button or PM other team members).
The surgery is scheduled for Thursday NZ time - five days away - and I am taking leave from today.
Though I am no stranger to major surgery, having undergone quite a number since 2010, this is the first one that I have been very anxious about given my current debilitated state and general health issues.
I will miss the members who especially brighten WP for me, and think of you while I am away. It might be a while before I return.
Wishing you all peace and calm here. In these troubled times I hope WP can again function as a haven from the contentious other planet out there, and return more fully to the supportive place it was in former times.

Hope it goes well and you recover quickly. The idea of surgery scares me a lot. I dont know if I could go though with one. Hope you can relax before it.

May the blessings of light and love be with you and your surgeons and care team. May they all be focused and thoughtful in their procedures and care. May the pain be brief and the recovery uncomplicated. My heart is with you.

Sending positive thoughts and your way, B19. May you come out of this feeling stronger, healthier and happier, once you’ve healed up. Hope the Docs & nursing staff take good care of you there in beautiful NZ. xx
