Speculation was rife that KFC shortened their name after this became public
Meet Mrs. Childress, “ Colonel Sanders Stole His Famous Fried Chicken Recipe From A Black Woman Named Mrs. Childress.
He later paid her $1200 for her recipe, KFC is worth 15 Billion Dollars today.

There's nothing secret about KFC's chicken.

1. Add seasoning.
2. Deep-dry chicken in oil.

Here in Australia, it was said they changed the name to reduce the focus of the chicken being deep-fried.
I have always thought the name change was a dietary/sales consideration.

Serious question:
So you are saying weed is legal where you are,
With a prescription?
It is in many places these days.
Just asking to make sure we are on the same page.

They didn't have to change their name. They should be proud of where they're from. They will always be The Dixie Chicks to me. Oh, wait.....I can't say Dixie anymore, that's politically incorrect.
