I think we should arrange a trip to the West Woods with ground penetrating radar equipment to try to find the exact area of excavation of the sarasens (stone pillars). It would be fun. Maybe we could do a little digging (with gov't. permission, of course). Find some artifacts. Do some camping.

If you read the article the crucial question of how the stones were dragged 25km by people who hadn't knowledge of the wheel is still the enduring mystery.

I do have a theory about Easter Island megaliths

That's interesting. I know West Woods, where the stones purportedly come from. Here's a picture from there that I took a couple of months ago.
