Salaries and expenses are a necessary and common part of any non-profit.

When does a government project need to depend on donor funds? That there is where the fraud becomes evident.

Democrats were not providing funding.

Still a government project. On top of that, while Democrat money wasn't going to the wall, neither was any collected by Bannon and that vet.

"On November 20, 2019 ... U.S. Border Patrol El Paso Sector Chief Gloria Chavez praised We Build the Wall’s New Mexico project at a press event," Thompson writes in the letter addressed to acting DHS secretary Chad Wolf.

"Chief Chavez touted the privately built, half-mile barrier as a “game changer” and 'very effective.' Chief Chavez also described specific technical capabilities included as part of the project," Thompson continues

Goes to show you that Ms. Chavez is a cretin. A half mile hardly is a drop in the bucket when the length of the US-Mexico border is taken into consideration.
