Mine are like that. They're not brown as in regular brown eyes but not green either yet not hazel but if you stand in snow with all white around you, they probably look orange-ish. Yes?

At first glance what would you guess my eye colour from the photo?

I saw... Mildly greyish-greenish mix and brown.
It's brown mix of something a bit light.

I wonder are there any easy to wear coloured contact lenses? Some contact lenses can be awkward to put on and cause eye infection.

I was researching lenses before Covid - 19. These lenses could change the darkest eye to the lightest eye but my eye care professional said I could only get them through the mail and could run the risk of getting an actual "amoeba" infection in the eye due to storage and climate. :( They were called "solotica". https://luxelenses.com/solotica-lenses/ Based on your photo, you might look nice with a blue/gray lense - it's up to you. BUT you have to be VERY hygienic with them. Check out that website. It is mind boggeling. But then again, "buyer beware" after what my eye doctor told me. 8O

I don't know...
... I'm just about to find that one out myself anytime soon. Not for aesthetic reasons.

All in hopes of solving my specific sensory issues.
Concerning wearing glasses, with rather heavy thick lenses and possibly fixing certain habits.

More than ever since face shields are added into the 'no-mask-no-entry policy' from where I live.

And yes.
Several suggestions says wearing contact lenses requires being very careful and hygienic about it.
Also being mindful what comes and happen to your eyes.

I think there's a disposable one pair a day type if someone's a bit lazy, but that's a bit expensive.
I'm not even sure if there's different colors available.

Jamesy, why not just be yourself physically, your eyeballs are perfectly fine, so is your seasonally changing hair color.
If you want to change something, get some sort of new job certification or something like that or a new skill that enhances what you currently do for a living. This Covid-19 virus is holding a lot of people down but this won't last forever.
