Older virgins, Do you feel like it will never happen

I must be blessed with good genes. On the rare occasions I can get a checkup, or when I give blood, they take my blood pressure and say, "I thought you said you were a smoker...?" Last time I went to the local clinic here and requested multiple times during the visit for a cholesterol screening [it runs high on both sides of my family, everybody gets prescribed statins between 35 and 40 years old, and I used to be extremely overweight, like 6'1" and 308lbs, and I'm a light smoker], they finally drew my blood and I never got the results, so I called several times. They just casually said my cholesterol levels "were fine". I asked for the numbers, they repeated, "They were fine, just normal." This is why I don't go to the local clinic, pay the $45-50 for nothing, and get checkups anymore. Twice, I've gotten sick from other patients in the waiting room, this whole tri-state region is like 1850's America, I swear to Jah.... So glad I happened to be in Portland when my appendix burst. If it happened down here, I'd probably be dead.

Turning 35 in a few weeks. Still a virgin. Yes, at this point it's pretty much a given that it will never happen.

you will feel bad because with a prostitute it is not the same.. it makes you depressed and turns you off from sex, because there is no real connection and no achievement and the women don't care much about you and it is pathetic.. prostitutes make you feel pathetic and you end up feeling bad about yourself and being turned off from women.. friend of mine visited prostituted a lot and ended up suiciding!

I'm sorry about that but I think there is very little link between the two. He probably had much more going on behind the scenes.

speaking for myself, YMMV, at least half the horrible feeling of worthlessness, was simply thwarted male hormones.

I had major sexual hangups.
Seeing sex workers got me over it.
One of the best things I ever did.
It was an investment in my personal development. 8)

Agreed.
I think it is probably a case of correlation rather than causation. 8)

This accurately describes every time I ever had sex with a girlfriend. I never initiated the activity myself, they all did. Three or four dates is simply not enough time to get to know anyone [or for them to get to know you], and in my experience, that's as long as women seemed to want to wait. The first time I actually paid for it, and in retrospect that turned out to be the most positive and rewarding experience I've ever had [likely due to more 'experience' on her part, but I honestly don't know]. Not trying to agree or disagree with anyone else, just sharing my personal story.
