Hello everyone.

I'm a misfit (I think that's the right word?) when it comes to NT's and I don't have any ASD people in my life, so I've joined this forum in hopes to find some people with common interests!

If anyone has any advice on navigating this place for the first time, i'm all ears :)

Welcome to Wrong Planet! I would suggest just diving in to whatever thread(s) look interesting to you. Of course I might not be the best person to give you advice on how to fit in here. :(

Misfits are one of those bands with a divided fanbase where some fans dismiss the post-Danzig stuff and others are primarily familiar with that stuff. Personally I'm mostly big on the earlier stuff with Glen Danzig.

I'd point you in the direction of the compilations of that earlier material.

Welcome to WP! Though I've not been here long I believe the locals are nice.

And I'm not surprised you are unaware of any ASDs in your life. My understanding is that ASD-1 occurs about once per 250 people, and some of those are doing a good job of blending in. (I like to think of Aspies as being the infiltration model of the ASD world.)
