This could save your life...

Common knowledge (in America, not sure about other countries) says that “normal” blood pressure is higher than it is. It’s actually anywhere *between* 90/60 and 120/80.

I think this assumption probably has to do with the fact that we eat so much processed food these days. I hope you found this helpful so you could take action for your health. I’m in a medical terminology class and just learned this.

Larger arms make the blood pressure reading higher than the correct value

Some articles claim that, drug stores blood pressure scanners not calibrated enough to be accurate

Sometimes if multiple readings in short span of time, drastically different readings

Only when the cuff size is too small.
Most newer cuffs have the reference size printed on them.
Use the right sized BP cuff to get the right reading.

Normal doesn't mean healthy. Normal just means "the norm" what you see the most of. Obesity in the united states is normal, but it is not health.

Obesity is not the "norm"----but it's too close to being a "norm."
