What makes you, you? I always saw obsessions as one of the strengths of autism. I love to hear all the amazing and sometimes original interests you have that you devote your time to. For me its hiking. I have hiked long distance trails before and if it was up to me I would be travelling around the world doing as many trails as possible.

Photography.

But photography also makes me hike a lot as well. I have done hikes that have lasted up 50 days or so.

I think I may have an obsession with my pet rats. I'd love to be a rat breeder some day, and sell the rats to people, although I may be very fussy with who I sell the rats to, as there are some wicked people out there.

You might say that I could become a "Crazy Rat Lady" one day. :lol:

digital audio restoration of my music collection. many a 78 rpm record or hissy tape recording was "made whole" by my collection of algorithmic processes.

My main interest is going out for walks in bush, parks and forest, Lego building, animating, music, space exploration and growing succulent plants.

The strangest obsessive interest I have is the clothes I wear. I keep my obsessions over wearing trackie pants and regular t-shirts out of social engagement since I had learned that it's the most irritating subject to bring up. All thanks to social media and YouTube, I am just happy to make some videos uploaded on my YouTube channel where I can let it all spill out and when I am talking with other people in the real world, it doesn't roll of my tongue. Another thanks to these videos, this obsessions about the clothes I like to wear isn't bottled up, I feel like that I am addressing to other random people who would be interested in my obsessions over clothes.

I just let these two videos run it's own course.
