I love spring and summer, I am not into Halloween and I hate winter and darkness. I'm obviously not comparable to a vampire.

I worked in IT (information technology) for decades. I thought it was good preparation for being a vampire. There were a lot of pale folk--who did not go out in the sun and even indoors preferred to work in the dark.

More recently I've read things suggesting that Aspies frequently gravitate to IT.

Well, I can confirm that I at least like the taste of my own blood...

While I like boxes, I like them visible, tangible and concrete -- not intangible and debatable.

I have plenty of empathy the world over. I really find the empathy stereotype very distasteful.

I thought I had loads of empathy and all that empathy stuff about ASD people was a load of rubbish.

However, I did a test created by Simon Baron Coen, and the results basically said i was fairly typical Asperger in that i had low empathy.

Now, I am generally very compassionate and try my best to understand what it feels like to be the other person etc.
However, i think that isn't an innate built in trait such as empathy but my intellect working things out, perhaps emulating empathy due to my up bringing.

I have to say, when I am in conflict with someone, i can lose my compassion for someone, feeling the emotion stronger than perhaps normal people. I would say that most my emotional states are amplified compared to NT people.

There was a theory years ago that people with ASD experience the world in an amplified state.
This would explain how i experience the world.

I believe the theory is called the intense world theory or something similar.

From where I came from, empathy is not a virtue nor the epitome of humanity.

It's more like a form of literacy to me.

When I order steak at a restaurant, I ask for it rare. I guess that's the closest to drinking blood that a person can get.
