True but older people are more likely to have various health issues that can make sex dangerous like heart problems & blood pressure issues.

I'd bet your in good physical health for your age. There are PLENTY of exceptions of corse but in general a younger person is more likely to be in better physical health than an older person.

Personally, people as they age become yucky - they look bad and smell bad and become less exciting. If I was into a woman before she became old, I'd still be attracted to her probably. Or if I was just so into a woman, the unattractive parts were still OK. But at this point, being with a woman who is past hitting the wall is meh, and in the geriatric age, it'd be hard without an endearing connection.

It seems you may be confusing a person's age with the longevity of their relationship.

People who are older but have been together as a couple for years, shouldn't be considered in the same vein as people who are older but have just met. People who are just meeting or in the beginning of a relationship are quite often very passionate, regardless of their age. Of course this isn't always true, but it's a consideration.

I don't find there's a real "diminished" sex drive in people over a certain age.

And I don't believe in the concept of a "sexual peak."
