Do you sometimes think about returning to normal life when corona crisis is over? Do you have some plans or ideas? Do you want to learn something new, travel somewhere or participate on an event?
I will start: I would like to learn ice-skating and travel to one neighbouring country.
For me, it is a great way to distract myself from thinking about how serious the situation is now, so I hope it will help you too.

1) Meet & hold all the new babies! :D Haven’t even met 2/3 of the local ones born to my cousins. Briefly met my best friend's 3rd born but have yet to be able to hold him - which is weird considering the first two spent much of their infancies falling asleep on my chest. :)

2) I’ll probably make a point of visiting some friends and family a bit more often, especially the oldest ones. I never really made much of an effort to do so in the past as I’m always either at work or the beach, but once you Can’t visit and realize how isolated they are.. makes one think ya should.

3) I’m not exactly sure how my sex life will be post pandemic, but it most certainly won’t be one of covid celibacy. Time will tell if I’m a bigger slut than ever Or if my habits change - I dunno for sure - but it most certainly will be nice to have the option of hooking up whenever I want to again & I can foresee there being some surreal hot hookups in my post pandemic future! Hmm, on that note, I really should lay off the Christmas cookies and hit the treadmill instead so I can be best prepared for said options. 8)

Might splurge on season tickets for the Buffalo Bills and Sabres depending on how much $$ I can save as well as go to as many concerts and pro wrestling shows in the area as possible :D

Sure, there is still a lot of world I would like to visit.

While in Lockdown I have been watching loads of episodes of Tony Boudain, the celebrity chef from NY.
He travels everywhere and eats everything, but also delves into the local culture and history where ever he goes.

Really interesting. Makes you wish you could go to the places he goes to too!

Although, not really into his wide and varied diet, as I have been a vegetarian most my life and plan to keep it that way.
Perhaps may be a bit of a challenge in some of the countries that he visited.

I still want to go travel around Asia, Europe, and if I have the money, perhaps parts of USA too.
Brazil, Cuba, Jamaica and the Caribbean also looks really cool. Maybe one day, if I ever have the money.

Resume my morning walks. Not too long after I retired I began taking a walk most mornings--about 1.7 miles or about 2.7 km. It was nice. We are adjacent to a park with ponds and there are footpaths between the local neighborhoods. I felt better and my posture improved (I was in IT so I was used to being hunched over a keyboard). I've stopped walking because there are a lot of other folk walking and most of them do not wear masks.

Fast food! Before the pandemic my bride was a busy gal so often I was on my own for lunch. There are a number of local fast-food emporiums I used to frequent; I hope most of them are still there after the pandemic. Oh, I guess there are a few nice restaurants I should take my bride to, as well.

I owe my bride a belated 20th anniversary trip. It did not happen on our anniversary because I had surgery and then there was the pandemic.

If I’m mentally and physically well enough, I might start back on trying to get a job and/or my own place, it’s unlikely for either to happen (particularly the job), but I haven’t quite completely given up hope yet.

With having a few different neurological, endocrine, mitochondrial, and musculoskeletal, health problems going on, the Corona pandemic hasn't changed my lifestyle - except for during lockdown and closure of restaurant dining which stopped our weekly creative writers group meetings during that period.

Partyyyyy!! !! !!

Yes, I used to hate parties and crowds but since my freedom has been taken away I am desperate to be around lots of people at once and socialise without the worry of passing on/catching a killer virus.

Walk. Just walk outside and breathe.

I'm already going back to work soon, or I'd soon get my Christmas gift money... :P

Maybe buy clothes. Solely accomodating my sensory needs. Because I've never actually done nor able to do this the whole time.
If not, I'd relearn sewing and buy materials myself. Create my own clothes.
Eventually replace most of my clothes solely to accomodate myself.

I really hope to get my pet care business back up and running when people begin to travel again and return to working away from home and also continuing to look for a job in a library. Hopefully getting my own car too so I can be more mobile :D

Oh yeah, that too. It’s gonna be surreal fun to be at the first big gay warehouse party with dj’s and several hundred partiers again after covid. :D It’ll be fun to work at the first post covid party I work at, too.

I just hope it's not a decade long party like after the 1918 pandemic. Followed by a big crash :(. But you know what they say, history repeats itself.

It will be a chance to visit family again. I will be running in races again, hopefully by next summer.
There's much I will miss about all this though.

1. I get to go to work with half the people working from home, so there is limited direct social interaction.
2. Without the COVID precautions, I'm a virus magnet and often get colds. None this year.
3. Less auto traffic.

I'll find myself a job. I won't be so afraid to work around people after Corona is over. I'll also fly to Munich for Oktoberfest a couple of times. I'll also be selling my crafted goods at the busy local flea market.
