Actually an inside job is still plausible when half of the GOP congress have not backed down on claiming the election was stolen. There is evidence that many GOP congress and their families have been given death threats so might be parroting Trump's lies out of fear. But there are plenty of GOP leaders who appear to be maintaining their support for the insurrection even after Biden's inauguration.

This congresswomen Marjorie Green Taylor should be arrested

Thank you for the clarification of the whole zip-tie thing.
I had believed that he brought them with him.
From that belief I opined that there was potential hostage-taking.
I am hoping for more explanations and clarifications.
I want to believe that their goals were not what I had come to believe that they fully intended to do.
Sincerely hoping that the violence, destruction and murder that happened was not what they were after.

No worries...I just want to make sure people have as much accurate information to make their assumptions on, rather than relying on inaccuracies. For some people (like yourself) it will help them understand events differently, for others though even incontrivertable evidence of guilt\innocence won't change their minds from their pre-conceived (tribal) beliefs.

Based on all the reporting (here and other sources), I had also been under the belief that they were taken to the event as well, and was surprised to hear hat they had not been... Strangely, though, I have seen few "corrections" in any of the sources I had previously referenced regarding this event.

Anyone harbouring sympathy about the motives behind the MAGA insurrectionists, please watch this video

Certain WP members will have you believe they know more than multi-trillion dollar funded agencies and the smartest people in US that there was some legitimate reason to question election vote counting.

What did she do, besides being at the violent protest?
Serious question.

Anyone involved in the Capital Hill riot are all losing their jobs when being identified. This was an attempted coup and terrorist attack. This was a criminal act so that is why she lost her job.

Beg to differ.
It wasn't an attempted coup.
It wasn't a terroist attack.
It was a violent protest the same way as the recent leftist violent attack was, apart from the venue.

I know you disagree.
And I know it is all about the venue, for you. ;)

Let us agree to disagree. 8)

It wasn't a protest it was an attack, they planned to try and murder congress people. And its not hate to criticize people where were willing to commit treason in the name of their beloved leader, orange cheeto.

Yes interesting choice of words, According to the actions Eugene Goodman his action and that of selected officers who actually did something ended up saving the lives of congressmen, Pelosi and Pence who would likely have been lynched.

Speculation, since it didn't happen.

The thing at the capital was a violent attack, protests where not violent attacks, as simple as that. None of those riots became a storming of a government building with the intent to kill congress people. Also the vast majority of those protests remained peaceful and there is even evidence it was police who provoked riot conditions much of the time.

A cop in my city got fired because he publically posted on facebook 'lets start a riot'...he wasn't supposed to tell the public.

You have a level 'head' and are willing to incorporate new information.
It amazes me how people, time and time again, jump to conclusions without the entire facts. 8O

Cyclopean partisanship is a powerful phenomenon, in some.
Very un-autistic, imo.

I haven't read any posts which were in favour of violent protests.
I am against either side using violence.

Is this another straw man of yours?
Prove me wrong. 8)

Could you point out these "Certain WP members"?
Or is this more unsubstantiated accusations?

The US FBI would disagree and the US gov because they were the ones that said this was an attempted coop and now they are being called terrorist's and The Proud Boys are labeled as a terrorist group.

The video was about voter's fraud. I haven't watched it yet but I have seen posts here claiming about vote fraud.
