In the mind of the right-wing conservative, the status quo of the past was just and equal.  Moves towards greater equality were thus seen as unjust and at their expense.  Take away the southerners' slaves and they see themselves as the victims.  Force them to give non-whites rights and they see themselves as the victims.  Try to dismantle their means of voter suppression and they see themselves as the victims.  Elect a black man as president and they see themselves as the victims.  Try to address racist violence and they see themselves as the victims. Vote out the most right-wing president in decades and they see themselves as the victims.  Try to end collective romanticizing of the racist past and they see themselves as the victims.  These people see their privilege slipping away and they are prepared to kill and die to keep it from happening.  It happened in 1861 and millions of them are hoping for it to happen again.  They just find new ways of sanitizing and rationalizing it such that it's purely coincidence that their goals align perfectly with the Klan and the Neo-Nazis.
In my opinion, when any Atheists, Californians, non-evangelical Christians, Communists, Court Judges, Feminists, Foreigners, Hollywood Actors, Jews, Liberals, Media Outlets, Minorities, Muslims, Queerfolk, Socialists, or Women speak freely on any topic, the average Trumpster (a White, Conservative, Toxic Male) will see himself as a victim.  Hence, admitting the truth about Trump means that all of those Atheists, Californians, non-evangelical Christians, Communists, Court Judges, Feminists, Foreigners, Hollywood Actors, Jews, Liberals, Media Outlets, Minorities, Muslims, Queerfolk, Socialists, and Women who spoke out against Trump were correct all along, and that the Average Trumpster has been betrayed by the very person they once worshipped -- thus making Trumpsters the ultimate victims.

And Trumpsters simply cannot handle that.

Of what censorship do you speak?
And why doesn't racism bother you?

I have noticed since childhood that when minorities get equal rights as white people, white people get angry. This is why we had the Civil War, this is why Lincoln got assinated. Then John F Kenneddy was assinated (even though there are lot of theories why he was killed but he also wanted to end the Jim Crow laws) and then Martin Luther King.

I don't understand why anyone would feel victimized when minorities get more human rights as the rest of us. This is white supremacy here when anyone objects to it and fights against it.

So the right wing is trying to declare a civil war again and a revolution war. I will be expecting more terrorist attacks by the right wing. Timmy McVeigh didn't see himself as a terrorist, he saw himself as a martyr and he acted so proud of what he did and wanted his execution to be public (be on television live). This was so weird to me and he was treating his upcoming execution like a Disneyland. And he also saw himself as a patriot.

Do you mean "the same as" or "more than"? Looks like a grammatical Freudian slip to me!

Well I imagine the FBI are busy right now trying to encourage some lone, mentally ill individuals to try to attack the inauguration, so that the authorities can heroically come to the rescue and justify further clampdowns. And if it happens, millions will fall for it.

I meant "same as" as I exactly said. 8)

I think it was just a misunderstanding. The protesters thought it was the National Maul.
