Apparently it is to be cancelled on day one of Bidens Presidency so, tomorrow.

Aww ... that's too bad. Imagine all of the wildlife that will never know the joy of heating their dens with oil. Sarcasm.

What an absolute tragedy, how will they survive the winter.

Sad, sad ... very, very sad ... More sarcasm.

The birds will be deprived of preening and bathing in oil.

And the native plant species?  They will just have to grow wherever they can.

Without a top dressing of oil they will surely suffer.

Without oil, a salad is just a bowl full of weeds.

Aside from all the other issues, I'm amazed it ever made any sense to pump the oil such huge distances. Wouldn't it be easier to build a refinery somewhere a bit closer to Canada than the Gulf of Mexico? Or is this all about Canada getting rich while someone else copes with all the pollution? (well, aside from pipe leaks)

We can live without something that we did not have in the first place.
Maybe the border wall/fence will be cancelled, as well.
Maybe a number of projects proposed/began by the previous administration will be cancelled.

Why not?  Especially since the previous administration was itself cancelled!

I feel giddy every time I say it -- We have a new president!

I'm Canadian, and apparently this is and always has been about Alberta trying to get ahead, first and foremost. Because they decided to base their entire economy around that one resource, they enjoy great prosperity when it does well, but they suffer when it doesn't. That's why they whine when other provinces or other countries decide not to build their pipelines.
Apparently construction on the wall has henceforth been halted. What has already been constructed will supposedly not be knocked down though. So...make of that what you will.

Why should anything not providing a safety hazard be torn down?
America is heading/diving into a MASSIVE depression, which will make the ‘Great Depression’ look trivial.
This virus may bankrupt America.
Spending the government funds to bulldoze something because it is ‘not needed’ is not justified.
We need to allocate every penny on medical care.
I would not be surprised that MANY more projects from the previous administration will be quickly/quietly cancelled, or placed on hold for ‘re-evaluation’.
