Star Wars, original trilogy or anything since. I regret becoming invested in the fandom or caring about it in the slightest.

Why is that? Do you find the fans too toxic?

There are some that are so bad that they will doxx you if you criticize the Reylo shipping.

Pretty much all TV and film fandoms are mired in disproportionate rage and eternal stupid flamewars. The Star Wars fandom takes that to the next level. I've taken to saying "I'm not a Star Wars fan- I like Star Wars."

"Man of Steel."

Nothing to do with Snyder's politics, or making Superman "dark and edgy", or any of the criticisms you normally hear. I'm fine with all of that. And there was some pretty good SF stuff in the film. I loved the portrayal of Krypton, the first major fight scene, and the idea of apocalypse by alien terraforming engine.

No, it's how the ending turned the sight of Superman getting punched through a building into the most tedious thing in the world, simply by repeating it over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and [continued in the Phantom Zone] again for what felt like several hours. Seriously, there must have been Clark Kent-shaped holes through sixty or seventy office blocks by the end of it. The final fight wasn't "relentless", it was just boring.

Joker. Good acting but i hated the portrayal of the character as sympathetic.

This will get a sequel despite what the animators experienced during production. 8O

am sorry, if this offends anyone , but i walked out of the Blair Witch Project.
Having grown up onthe fringes of the music and ENTERTAINMENT Industry ..... i could not bring myself to sit through the lowest budget film , i almost ever saw. The sets were nothing but nature pictures at night in a heavey grayscale filming . 20 mins into the movie , i could not decern a plot to it
am quite sure it was intended to be scarey.

I saw it for the first time about a year ago. I thought it was pretty lame, and not scary at all.

My mom thinks of Eraserhead as a boring movie. My NT sister thinks of Eraserhead as a weird movie. However, one we will try not to watch is the cult film Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas.

that one sounds like a downer, yes.

Even though it was directed by Terry Gilliam and starred Johnny Depp, the three of us just don't like the idea of sitting for two hours watching two guys cursing almost non-stop and going on acid trips.

My mom refuses to watch any war movie regardless of the amount of blood in it.

I recall watching Slaughterhouse 5 with her and during a battle scene, she told me off because she believed
Slaughterhouse 5 was a war movie and not a satire of warfare.

I then told her, "The man who wrote the book served during World War II, but when he wrote the book, the Vietnam War was getting started and he was against the idea of the US invading another country at all."

The book and the movie both ask, "Why do people start wars in the first place?"

(And yes, I have read the book.)
