I see nothing wrong with it, so long as all the people involved are okay with it. Granted the concept of even monogamous relationships is entirely foreign to me, and that may play a part in it all being the same to me, but really, so long as everyone involved is aware of the nature of the relationship (nobody is trying to hide the fact that they’re in a romantic relationship with more than one person from a romantic partner or anything) and everyone who is part of the relationship(s) is happy with it, I don’t see why it should matter to anyone else.

Actually it might hurt polyamorists because degenerates don't care

Just don't cheat on your monogamous partner while drunk, that apology won't hold up as well. You're responsible for your behavior.

I don't see anything wrong with the idea itself, but I can't imagine it not going wrong. It seems inevitable that some sort of priority hierarchy will form and comparisons will be made. For me personally anyway, the idea of "being romantically involved with more than one person at once" just feels unthinkable. Being romantically involved with one already feels like something at the far edge of imaginable reality anyway...
