My wife and I have been house viewing the last couple of days because I landed a job on Monday. We moved fast because its a sellers market right now with low inventory and my commute would be brutal otherwise. We made an offer on a home today that we really liked and it was accepted! We've been living in our current 1 bedroom apartment for 4 years, so ready to gain living space. As long as nothing comes up during inspections or other problems our move in date will be a little under two months from now.

Everything is about to change.

Cool, congratulations! What kind of place are you moving in to, if you don't mind me asking? A house instead of an apartment since you said house hunting? How many floors? Rooms? I'm always curious about this kind of stuff.

Congrats on the job, congrats on the house!

Once you close on the place the home ownership experience is surprisingly painless.
