I love Robot Carnival and Memories. I heard of Neo-Tokyo but watched as a trailer but not a movie. I only one clip, Running Man. I also heard of Genius Party, The Animatrix and many others. Which got me here to say about Twilight Q, which has two parts, sto be an anthology with more episodes, but got cancelled. Why is that some anime anthologies are cancelled?

Lack of funding, likely.

Is there any more reasons?

I could imagine a large number of reasons, but to be honest, shows that were making money have continued even after untimely deaths of the main author/director. So, it's very likely they didn't make enough money to secure further investment, or the original investprs pulled out, or the studio bosses bought new sports cars and let everyone go and dissolved the company. (That happened to a friend of mine on the animated feature he had wrotten, and was directing. He spent a whole year drinking heavily after that)
