How come I understand the legal consequences of my actions, even though I am delusional?

I still mix my formor hallucinations that I had in the past with reality, but I am aware of my actions to the point where it would be very hard to proof mental defence if was a criminal for example. Like, I am very aware from right and wrong, but I am psychotic in other areas.

My psychotic episode is mild.

I think that is the nature of delusions. A person can have psychosis and still have morals. Even when a person knows they have delusions, they still have them. They aren't just explained away.
