I don't know what it is called, I have some underdeveloped social skills, but I am overly polite and can have a normal conversation with others. I can even make new friends, even though I have Borderline Intellectual Functioning and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I did have severe communication delays from my early childhood.

Most autistic people do eventually develop social skills, although most of us continue to have social difficulties, of one kind or another, also.
It's good that you are able to make friends.
