Some of you maybe aware of her condition and have updated you on what state she’s been in.

Today, I’ve been informed by the hospital that she’s had a stroke and the condition still has been extremely bad.

So that’s the latest update.

Can’t believe this is happening to her! Thanks for letting us know Ian. Have been thinking of her everyday. Hope you’re coping there. Hugs.

Haven’t been coping too well as a matter of fact, although just trying to be strong. Seems to be proven harder than I thought.

Hugs, Ian. :(
I've survived two strokes, so there is hope. She's in the best of hands and it's possible she can recover given time, love, and therapy. Please remember we're here praying for you both.

Feel free to message if you need a friend.

Love,
Isa (Strokes)
and
My Daughter (Lupus Nephritis)

That's true what everybody has said.

Sorry for what Blint is going through....and what you're going through, too.

I'm glad you are there for her. That will help in her recovery.

I hope she's able to recover, she always seemed like a really nice woman.

That actually does give a lot of hope that she would hopefully recover from this. Weirdly enough, ever since she came back to the hospital, she’s suddenly at one point had a stroke. Will get more information on how hopefully by tomorrow.

Thanks IsabellaLinton.

Also for the hugs.

Questions to ask:
Was it embolic (blood clot), or hemorrhagic (aneurysm)?
What part of the brain?
How large?
What damage is expected?

Hang in, Ian.

Yea, I hope she recovers and one of the nicest people but a rather interesting character.

It’s always the good ones. :(

Hang in, Ian.

Those are interesting questions I’d ask them, this in the morning.

The hardest part was being in the dark for about a week wondering what has happened to her as I’ve heard nothing from her for a week, only to have discovered this morning. This was something I’ve never expected was to happen to her.

May have to figure out how to get some time off while I get my head together.

I know you want some time off----but would you have trouble making the rent or whatever if you do take time off?

It's very possible the stroke was from kidney failure if that's uncontrolled, or from high blood pressure either from poor kidney function or from the Covid. Both of mine were embolic. The first was much bigger and took a year of stroke rehab but I'm still here to talk about it, so there's definitely hope. My second was actually from high blood pressure from kidney disease, from another medical issue. It was smaller. I won't bore you with details but I thought I should pass along the information so you know they aren't always fatal, or catastrophic. Come to think of it, my mother has had several aneurysms, including a massive one which they thought would be terminal. That was about 20 years ago and she's also doing fine now.

You don't need to share all her medical details with us if you do get to talk to the doctors. I just want you to have information so you can do your own research and put your own mind at ease.

Sending more prayers from me and MD - she's very concerned about Blint as well.

That’s the unfortunate part, it has affected the way I worked. Find it much harder to feel motivated as of recent. Luckily I did get a bonus from Deliveroo which may only cover like a few days.
