There's so many layers of bizarre in all of this...

Not least of which, "the ABC has a lot to answer for making us feel threatened and exploited" [said the dancers]. I mean... they were literally shaking their asses to an audience at a public event. "No it's not like that, their butts were facing sideways!" Ohhh okay that makes it completely different then.

The conservatives have been trying to cancel the ABC for some time, somewhat ironic.

Well, they certainly aren't doing anything to convince the conservatives to change their mind, are they, with this event...

The ABC are obviously in some damage control over this debacle. In addition many of the women involved in the dance are women of colour/indigenous so that just makes it worse.

However the question posed by the reporter remains....what on earth was the navy thinking using taxpayers money to have scantily dressed women gyrating in front of salivating naval officers.

If you watch the video Jackie Lambie is pointing out the military is facing "10s of millions of dollars in law suits over sexual harrassment." so the idea of sexualising women for the entertainment of the troops seems pretty dumb.

ABC apologises for misleading audience in twerking coverage

The ABC has apologised for misleading views in its coverage of the Navy's 'twerking' controversy, with the Prime Minister calling the broadcaster dishonest and disrespectful.

No, don't look over there, look straight into my eyes only, yes, or else the magic trick doesn't work.

The poor editing leading to a misleading story should probably result in disciplinary action, what would you suggest Pepe? Maybe Scomo can appoint his friends Peta Credlin and Andrew Bolt to run the ABC perhaps?
