Can I lack empathy temporarily when I am in a psychotic episode? I attacked my corrupted military police according to my delusions and hallucinations that I used to have at the age of fifteen for one month and little did I know that I hurt innocent people without mens rea activate.

According to my psychosis, I did the right thing and I felt no regrets until I stopped being psychotic and I apologized for my disorderly conduct.

I guess anyone in severe distress, real or imaginary, can naturally lack empathy.
Does some medication help with such episodes?

That's good.
I think lacking empathy is natural when the mind gets overwhelmed by hallucinations.
Avoiding getting into such episodes (e.g. taking medication) seems the best thing to do.

I have compassion but empathy is unreliable

But then nts have no empathy...it is in their head, it is not real

When i am angry/upset/annoyed compassion is hard to find but otherwise I am soft. Bit of a sweetie.
