I'm new

Hello to all! I'm new! I was diagnosed with High-functioning Autism at age 3. I've come to this forum to hopefully get to meet others like me. One of many things I like is learning more about technology and space. I'm also into Ancient Egyptian Archeology. For awhile I felt very self conscious of how I interacted with those who were considered "neurotypical" as I was bullied in school for being in a Special Ed class (I really hated that!). Now I've recently learned to love myself (the real me) and not the me I was trying to portray to appease to other people. Long story short, I've had a lot of ups and downs with my diagnoses with support from my Mother, Father, friends, and certain teachers, to having to fight long battles against many teachers, bullies, and those who thought they were smarter than me even though they probably couldn't calculate 1+1 (exaggeration, I know! But I'm sure you get what I'm saying)! I have been doing better with my life now vs say, my high school years. I'm finishing up my community college education and planning to further my education in computer programming. Hopefully I'll get to the job I want soon! My hobbies include weightlifting, stargazing, computer games, listening to music, playing pool(aka billiards), and collecting old software and games. Glad to be a part of the community. Also I'm a quite a night owl, so if I make any replies or future posts it'll be late in the evening.

And...I retired from working in IT. I discovered that some Trance music made good, not too distracting background music while I was working. For instance, many of Steve Roach's albums, and works by anyone who has collaborated with him.

Thank you! You know after reading this, I just got an awesome idea! One of these day I ought to put in a glass sunroof on my house, put a pool table in that room, and have some mounted speakers on the wall to play some cool relaxing music while I play pool with the stars above me. Heh! Heh! That would be cool!

I've never seen Draco as I live in the southern hemisphere. I find Crux and that area of the sky is very beautiful through a telescope. If you can see Draco from where you live then, I'm assuming you live in the Northern hemisphere and probably can't see Crux. Which is a pity as there are all kinds of goodies in the milky way that northerners can't see.
