Fauci now recommends face masks over your eyes so you can’t read his leaked emails

Quote:
WASHINGTON, DC—A treasure trove of emails from National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Dr. Anthony Fauci’s were made public this week by Genesius Times after a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

The emails lend insight into the thought processes of the unscientific, egomaniacal bureaucrat and Fauci has since released a recommendation for face masks to be worn over everyone’s eyes so that they don’t read the emails.

“You really want to put the face mask over your eyes entirely so that there’s no way you can read the emails I sent to people telling them that they don’t need face masks and that COVID likely originated in a lab even though I publicly stated the opposite over and over again,” Fauci said.

The emails showed that Fauci’s NIAID, did in fact fund gain-of-function research on the coronavirus at the Wuhan Institute, which Fauci denied.

The Telegraph (UK newspaper) today sums up the situation very well.

Quote:

The West’s Wuhan cover-up will not be forgotten easily
Elites will rue their efforts to trash the lab leak theory if, as seems increasingly likely, it proves to be right

Last week there was another major anti-lockdown protest in London. As usual, it was ignored by most of the media, and its participants were derided by commentators who prefer their rule-breakers to be violent and thuggish rather than peaceful and generally good-natured.

It is very easy to dismiss such people. But the well of suspicion of authority that they draw upon has just received an unprecedented boost.

I am not sure that many people have yet grasped the significance of a shift in the official narrative that has occurred in recent weeks. A shift so profound and far-reaching in its consequences that its repercussions may be felt for years to come.

I refer of course to the shift in the story about where the Covid virus came from. Since the beginning of the pandemic many of us have been of the view that it was strange that the virus should have originated from the province where the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) happens to have a laboratory looking into precisely such viruses.

My own such feelings were bolstered by a conversation I had just before the first lockdown with a US official who had recently been in a position of prominence and who commented that the Wuhan lab would be an obvious place for such a virus to emerge.

In the year that followed there were many senior figures from the worlds of intelligence, science and politics who felt the same thing. Last year, members of the Five Eyes intelligence sharing network said that they suspected that the virus had come from a laboratory and not – as the CCP wished everyone to believe – from a Chinese wet market.

Yet much of the media and, more importantly, the social media companies that now decide what we can all know, say and do, decided that they knew better. Facebook, Twitter and other companies decided to either “flag” or bar content that suggested that the Covid virus had originated in a laboratory.

The tech overlords love to flex their muscles on such occasions. Just as they decided before the last election that America’s oldest newspaper – The New York Post – should not be allowed to run a major story about Joe Biden’s family, so the kidults in Silicon Valley decided that they knew best about Wuhan wet markets and virus origins.

The same thing happened with views that were anti-lockdown. As the Telegraph reported last year, interviews with major scientists such as the former WHO adviser Professor Karol Sikora were taken down by YouTube as soon as they were posted online. Anyone who questioned the received narrative was virtually disappeared. The public were only allowed to be told one version of one story. And that whole narrative began with the assertion that the virus was the result of an accident in a Wuhan wet market.

Well, now the story has changed completely. An increasingly incontrovertible pile of evidence has come to light that suggests that the lab leak theory is indeed the correct one.

The turnaround comes in part from the CCP’s own attempts at covering its tracks. In February of this year, officials from the WHO were given a carefully curated tour by the Chinese authorities that was meant to conclude what the CCP wanted them to conclude: that there was no evidence of the virus coming from the laboratory at Wuhan. But the press conference was hijacked by the CCP’s spokespeople, and even the WHO was brave enough afterwards to dissent from the conclusions forced upon them. The CCP’s behaviour could not have been more suspicious if it had tried.

In the weeks since then, a growing number of experts have begun to highlight elements of the virus which point to the lab leak theory. And there has been a turnaround in those portions of the media which have spent the past year pouring scorn on the same claims. One of those in the firing line is America’s Dr Anthony Fauci, a trove of whose emails have recently been released. In them he can be found early on in the pandemic accepting credit for having helped to quash the lab leak theory.

In part, this was all just one more political casualty of the partisanship of everything that happened during the presidency of Donald Trump. Because Trump himself was not averse to the lab leak theory, there was a special premium for his opponents in promoting the wet-market explanation. It allowed them to say that the president was spreading another dangerous conspiracy theory.

The investigation into how the virus came out was already hampered by the fact that the CCP was doing everything it could to interfere with the rest of the world’s efforts to explore what really happened. And then there was this additional layer of obstacles to the truth provided by the most powerful country in the world fighting the virus-origin story, like everything else, through the lens of whether you were pro or anti Donald Trump.

No wonder we are all these months on and still so very far away from knowing everything we should know by now. The CCP hampered us. And then the free societies of the world hobbled themselves.

Papers and media companies that previously dismissed the lab-leak theory have spent recent days quietly editing some of their own past content. But they are fooling no one but themselves if they think that they can get away with rewriting the past. The CCP might have the power and malevolence to play the cover-up game. But the companies and institutions in the West who ordered the public to believe one thing and are now accepting another will have a much harder time of it.

We have lived through an unprecedented period. One in which our freedoms have been curtailed like never before. Such a period makes people ripe for and receptive to conspiracy theories. But to grasp the full fracturing nature of what has just occurred we must consider the fact that one of the things that we have spent the past year being stopped from knowing is a thing that turns out most likely to have been true.

Biased media censorship raises its ugly head again.
The guy that helped fund the GOF research in Wuhan was given the job of that censorship.
Conflict of interest, anyone?

Politics is more important than getting to the Truth so we can potentially stop this from happening again.

The real question is why Fauci did not send his emails to Hillary's server.

Quote:
WASHINGTON—A report on the origins of Covid-19 by a U.S. government national laboratory concluded that the hypothesis claiming the virus leaked from a Chinese lab in Wuhan is plausible and deserves further investigation, according to people familiar with the classified document.

The study was prepared in May 2020 by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California and was drawn on by the State Department when it conducted an inquiry into the pandemic’s origins during the final months of the Trump administration.

It is attracting fresh interest in Congress now that President Biden has ordered that U.S. intelligence agencies report to him within weeks on how the virus emerged. Mr. Biden said that U.S. intelligence has focused on two scenarios—whether the coronavirus came from human contact with an infected animal or from a laboratory accident.

People familiar with the study said that it was prepared by Lawrence Livermore’s “Z Division,” which is its intelligence arm. Lawrence Livermore has considerable expertise on biological issues. Its assessment drew on genomic analysis of the SARS-COV-2 virus, which causes Covid-19, they said.

Given the name has received a reasonable amount of media notice recently (going back to 2020), I would have thought you'd have come across it...

To give an update on why his name is becoming more noticed of late:
Quote:
You don’t need a PhD in epidemiology to ask: why wasn’t the possibility of an accidental ‘lab leak’ considered from the start?

The answer, according to many observers, may lie with Dr Peter Daszak, a British zoologist who is also a president of EcoHealth Alliance, a not-for-profit organisation researching emerging infectious diseases, which has received funds from U.S. government bodies.

In February 2020, Daszak organised a letter, co-signed by 26 other leading scientists and published in leading medical journal The Lancet. It declared: ‘We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that Covid-19 does not have a natural origin.’

It strongly affirmed that ‘this coronavirus originated in wildlife’ and expressed solidarity with the ‘scientists and health professionals of China’.

It was this authoritative statement that effectively shut down any debate about a ‘lab leak’ theory, even before a global pandemic had been declared by the World Health Organisation.

Of course, even a simple Google (or DDG, Bing, etc.) search could have provided the information you were apparently lacking.

Not only does it seem peter daszak was covering his own butt in regard to funding the Wuhan lab, in his emails to fauci, but he was chosen to lead the investigation team to China.

Well, my manner of responce is based on a combination of the respect a person I am responding to has shown they are worthy of (based upon previous treatment\responces received from them, etc.), their expected understanding of the subject matter (for instance whether the same sourced fact had been provided to them and subsequently ignored on multiple occasions), plus other miscellaneous factors. For example, there is one a couple of pages back in this thread which appears to be of the type you were desiring to see - https://wrongplanet.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=397239&p=8797633#p8797633 - I'm surprised you were not aware of it.

Given the open-ended nature of the question (it consisted of a single word) and an indication (through the use of the "circumflex" character) that it was directed at the content of the previous post, but with no indciation it was addressed to a specific group\person, there was nothing to suggest only a select few were permitted to respond (or, that in fact, you aren't desiring to restrict certain people/groups from doing so) - It may be worth taking several minutes to make your intentions behind such questions less ambiguous in future, rather than just throwing out one word responces such as contained within the post under discussion, to ensure others can provide a responce that meets your specific demands.

I asked "why", you responded with "what". Any damn fool can use a browser, as has been proven.

Using "^" immediately following a post is an indication that the response (and BTW, it's response, not "responce" - I'm surprised you don't know that) accompanying it is directed at the person who made said indicated post, in reference to their post's content.

But to explain it in more detail for you (it's odd that others don't seem to require this) - Pepe posted the text "Never forget this name: PETER DASZAK" and below it, clearly pointing to his post, I asked "Why?".
Steping down to the cellular level - I asked Pepe why he instructed everyone reading his post to never forget the name Peter Daszak, hoping to see his reasoning behind it, how he arrived at a decision strong enough to insist that his instruction is in any way meaningful.
What I got instead was you doing what you do most: picking apart posts and making condescending assumptions and pronouncements.

I'm surprised that for someone with your forensic attention to detail, even to the mundane if it means adding more words, you weren't able to work out the association between my post and that preceding it.
But of course you did understand the association, as stated - and it's used as another excuse for more condescending prattle.

Well done you.
