reminds me of the Alan Acyborne play Stranger than fiction, and I believe there was a play with exactly the same premise you've described. I coudl work as a novel but I expect you'll have a very hard time getting it published.

I saw that movie! It was a masterpiece, except for the ending which was sort of ok. :P

My parents thought it was s**t.

yeah philosophy is way different. try reading a novel then reading thus spoke zarathrustra by nietzsche or being and time by hiedegger - way harder to read.

philosophy is in everything, but it is in its essence it an actual philosophical text.

Yeah, that sounds like an excellent idea, but I really don't understand. Are you planning it to be more episodic in nature, with the idea of a half finished story as the premise,(Like "Six Characters in Search of an Author") or are you planning to explore the mechanics of a half finished story, like in "Stranger than Fiction"?(awesome movie, btw)

I can't remember for the life of me what the play was called but it was about characters being abandoned and them discussing the philosophy of their existence.

Was it Six Characters in Search of an Author by Luigi Pirandello?
