Agree with these quotes but even MLK knew they were aspirational goals as he preceded these with the statement "one day" which pertains to one day in the future. That day hasn't come yet.

To be honest she's already fallen on her sword in terms of her credibility with her patients. She has less chance of becoming president than Kyle Rittenhouse who is likely popular with at least 74 million republicans despite being a murderer.

Correct, that is why he said “I have a dream”. A lot of Critical Race Theory and Anti Racism training have given up on the aspirational part, they say in so many words “MLK had a pipe dream”

It's almost like there's valid reasons to feel disillusioned when so often references to his dreams are used to invalidate the need for further work and discussion.

Only if 'racist' = willing to benefit or has benefited from systemic racism in the west.

Part of the reason dialogue on this topic struggles is that long-winded, precise explanations are ignored and more concise attempts fail to be adequately precise.
