Does anyone else just like going for walks when it's nice out? I have my lisense so for bigger grocery store trips, working a night shift or whatever I'll drive. But if it's a nice day out i normally walk if I only need to get a couple of things, or like run to the post office to mail something smaller. I also sometimes just go for walks on the trail or to the grave yard, even just to get a few drinks from the convience store. I listen to music sometimes unless I'm going out on the trails where it's more peaceful. I find it quite relaxing and helps ones metal health also

I try to walk 3 miles a day, I prefer to do this on the same route over and over so I do not have to think about possible dangers. I also hike, and when I walk or hike I avoid listening to headphones I prefer to just listen to the noise of the neighborhood. I enjoy being in motion, walking though hits all of my sensory needs at once.

I walk/run (mostly walk) between 9 and 16 miles every day.

Despite this, I haven't lost an ounce of weight in a long time.

But, many times, the scenery is conducive to enjoyment. And I feel a sense of accomplishment when I've completed a decent distance.
