Maybe he's afraid it would be putting too much pressure on her & might scare her off. I notice lots of people on dating sites say they want to take things slow & be friends 1st & see where it goes. Lots don't want the pressure of jumping rite into an official relationship. They play situations out by feel & see what happens & where things end up. It's one major reason I'm not compatible with NTs. I NEED directness & straightforwardness & need predictability. I'm just guessing that's what's going on here though.

I'm really not sure how he keeps asking when I'll have free time and offering to get a bite to eat, play a card game or whatever i like and how he apologized feeling he could have done something different highly lean towards that
