It's difficult to choose one, but I always gravitate back to this. I may post a different song when I'm in a different mood.

I like all kinds of music. Am a fan of Winehouse. Like some songs by each of the other three.

In fact one of the songs I have always advocated that we autistics could steal as an "anthem" is GaGa's "Born This Way".

We would be borrowing from it from homosexuals.

The other song we could "borrow" is McFadden and Whitehead's "Aint No Stoppin Us Now" (Seventies disco hit that doubled as a Black anthem).

Impossible to pick one single favorite song.

But you can come close.

My pick would be a certain innovative song from way back in 1947 in which the singer single handily invented both rocknroll, AND invented rap music- in the same performance!

AND...the song was....a plea for peace and understanding ...that long predated Dylan's "Blowin in the Wind", Lennon's "Give Peace a Chance", and Lennon's "Imagine".

My favourite for a long time has been Metallica's The Outlaw Torn from the Load album. It's the last track on the album and has a guitar riff that sends shivers down my spine. I think it's a masterpiece. :)
