The USA already has a tyrannical Government, 95% of the population are working for the benefit of the top 5% and that's the way it will stay. It's one very big bee hive.

So guns don't stop tyranny if you're crafty enough with your exploitation.

ESPECIALLY if you persuade people than anyone trying to make things better for the average Joe is actually The Enemy.

Calling January 6 an insurrection is a misnomer, it was a failed insurrection. That it failed should not be used to dismiss the seriousness of what happened on January 6. They came close sometimes within dozens of feet of doing who knows what to Congressmen and the Vice President. While they did not have guns, they had weapons. This was the first non peaceful transfer of Presidential power in American history and the most serious attempted insurrection since the Civil War.

You say not to dismiss the seriousness of January 6, but you do exactly that. It was an insurrection, whether it failed or succeeded has nothing to do with that act.

And when you are part of a well-regulated militia used for the defense of a State, then you will have a right to a weapon. That is a criteria of the 2nd amendment.

Hellar is going down in history as one of the worst ruling of the Supreme court, along with Dred Scott. If you take up arms against our government, you are simply a traitor. We have laws to deal with people that think they are entitled to overthrow a democratically elected government.

^^ There are plenty of failed insurrections in the history of my country as it's presented in schools. No one calls them "not insurrections" just because they failed.
