If you have 'enemies' they will set you up to receive aggression from others.

What does 'set you up to recieve agression' mean in more depth?

Receive aggression.

It means that they'll badmouth you and slander you to persuade others to also dislike and mistreat you. Happens often in social environments like workplaces. Someone with a lot of social clout who doesn't like you will portray you in a bad light to convince others to dislike and abuse you, too. When your enemy is successful in getting underlings to join in with the aggression, it's called mobbing.

I would assume that the set you up part is tricking you to look foolish.
Like "Come to my party, but dress in white. Everybody will be" and when you arrive none of them are wearing anything white.
