I been biting inside of my mouth, I don’t know why. Does anyone bite their mouth accidentally?

I used to sometimes bite my tongue/cheeks while eating because of my coordination issues. I still have some issues swallowing and chewing, but I don't accidentally bite myself anymore.

Biting the inside of your mouth & tongue can sometimes be related to having teeth that are misaligned & that cause can sometimes be helped by getting braces. I sometimes do that if I'm distracted while I'm eating. I had braces as a tween but my teeth did not get perfectly aligned. My orthodontist quit as soon as the insurance ran out saying "We did the best we could". I also did not wear my headgear like I was supposed to after so my teeth got more misaligned. I don't notice any other issues though & I'm not even sure if me biting my mouth is due to my teeth being misaligned or is just due to me being distracted & having coordination issues.
