I, or we, have dissociative identity disorder aka multiple personality disorder. Ours is a poly-fragmented system with three child alters. You wouldn't know it unless we tell you - or you come to our home, as it is decorated according to the children's preferences because plain white walls et al would be just fine with me.
Since Hollywood does about as poor a job on representing DID as it does on ASD, if you have questions, feel free to ask. I'm open to share my experience, and grateful to be able to talk about it without shame. Anywho, just thought I'd stick this in here in the event that there is someone else here with a dissociative disorder - you aren't alone!
