Cat Food

Does can & dry food stay fresh in the bag or can? Does cat food expire? I have a food container for my cat if that is fresher.

I put dry cat food in a can and close the cap so that the smell doesn't fade. If the smell fades cats don't eat it. I am not sure about the expiration date though, maybe you can search the website of that brand?
