Will a self-professed atheist ever occupy the White House?

Many GOP supporters still believe to this day Barack Obama was the first Muslim President of the US.

In fact, Obama is actually a Protestant and has attended services at
Baptist, Methodist, and Episcopal churches.

I am Catholic, but being told to always support anti-Democrat movements
(such as movements to overturn Roe VS Wade) I believe a sense of individualism should be kept
as a factor into making sure democracy doesn't go off of the rails.

Absolute separation of Church & State should always remain intact.

I am a Catholic, but I'd be okay with an atheist (or agnostic) President.
