I’m thinking about dating online, but I’m not sure if I can handle a relationship. Things are soooo different now than my last relationship over a year ago. I have way more physical pain now, in my feet, lower legs, arthritis in my knees, hands, fingers, arms, neck & my back. With my Aspergers, I’m not very good communicating with people, communicating is #1 in relationships. I do want a boyfriend, but I’m scared too. When I meet a guy in person, I just can’t get dress, go out to meet him. I’m in a wheelchair, I can walk a little bit, if I walk, I get pretty bad anxiety.

Honestly i think it is different with everyone.
I have never had a relationship and probably wll never have one and i prefer it that way. I can't imagine sharing my private space with someone.

But i know other autistic people who are in a happy relationship. There is bound to be someone like you in the world too. Don't lose hope.
