My mom has said that if people from her native country ever see snow,
they may react either the same way as the people in Brazil or exhibit negative reactions.

She says it's summer all year-round in her native country.

Well duhhhhhh....

Were talking about Brazil.

The state of Sao Paulo is on the Southern Hemisphere's 23rd latitude. Havana Cuba is on the northern hemisphere's 23rd latitude. So its like having a snow storm in Cuba. Even Miami is farther from the Equator.

Yeah. Its a bizarre occurrence.

The first time I ever saw snow as a child was in 1973. I lived in the Southern San Joaquin valley in California. Weather is a funny thing.
