I have ALOT of physical pain, pain in my feet, legs, hand, fingers, shoulder, knee & more pain. I got pain in my feet & lower legs, cuz I broke my ankle 3 years ago, my ankle healed, my bones didn’t healed right, I been getting pain ever since, I been extremely numb in my feet, I been hearing little cracks in my right foot, I broke my right ankle. I been going to the foot doctor when I broke my ankle, I told the doctor about hearing cracks, he didn’t listen to me. I also have arthritis in my back, knees, fingers, hands, wrists, lower arms, shoulders & sometimes my neck. I cannot move my right foot good, I can move my toes, my right foot feels sooo extremely different than my left foot, in the mornings when I wake up, my right foot is so stiff. I’m using a wheelchair, I’m walking too, but it’s hard walking, I get pretty bad anxiety when I’m on my feet. I can’t take a regular shower or go to the laundry room, I been handwashing my pajamas, I can still do a bad job. I’m almost 51, physically I feel like I’m in my 90s, I can hear cracks in my body sometimes, I feel like I’m falling apart. I REALLY HATE my life!

Do you have a Rheumatologist? What type of arthritis treatment do you do?

If you have a social worker, talk to him/her about helping you get an appointment for a thorough checkup. And follow through on it.

I wish you could have someone help you by going to the doctor with you. I feel like you need someone like that. Doctors sometimes don’t listen.

I don’t know if this will help you or if this is an option with your finances.
My bio- mom has crippling arthritis and hip pain. They don’t want to do a hip replacement on her because of other medical conditions. She is on lots of pain meds and still hurting. They can’t give her anymore than she’s taking. Her doctor told her to get a memory foam mattress so she did.She says there is no longer any pain while she’s in bed and can now sleep. It still hurts when she gets up to walk but at least her nights are pain free.
She paid around $800.00 for it.
I hope you find a source of relief.

If you get Medicare, you are eligible to get massage for pain relief. I strongly recommend it. Some therapists will bring their table to your home.

You should also see if there are any other home services for you. Physical and occupational therapy, cleaning aides, etc. A social worker should have some ideas and resources.
