Well...I am sure that he has a regular mortal dad who raised him who may still be alive with whom you could shake hands. But that dad is just the equivalent of Joseph ( as in Mary and Joseph).

Even geographically they are in equivalent places in the two countries. Queensland is the closest part of Australia to the Equator, and has a peninsula jutting north towards the equator. Just like Florida is the farthest southern state, and has (most of it IS) a peninsula.
