Truth
Peace
Care of the environment

These are the Quaker testimonies.

put in some effort and try to make it not suck.

actually, that's just my work ethic, I wish I could extend to other aspects of life as well - it serves me well as work ethic in that it attracts people who think similarly, leading to collaboration that sometimes doesn't suck.

To be responsible for myself and to live by my own intelligence and experiences and not bow down to anyone's group think, especially that of politically correctness.

To crush my enemies, see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

From Atheist leaning Agnostic (or vice versa) viewpoints:

From St. Francis: “Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

Mine are a combination of never being completely certain of anything, and extending the principle of charity towards others until they give me reason not to.

I also do not accept finger pointing. If you are working here, you are far better off owning up to your errors than you are trying to blame them on others.

I do that too, but it's not a moral principle for me, it's just the only way that stands up to reason. For me, certainty is a number that never quite reaches 100%, though it's sometimes so near it that for all practical purposes it may as well be.

I'm quite certain about a number of things in mathematics. That includes that there are mathematical statements that can be neither proven nor disproven.

I was impressed with mathematical theorems at school, because they were apparently things which could be and had been proved. I would be 100% certain that they were all true, but the main objection to that assumption is that I can't be sure I'm not dreaming or under some strange delusion. Also there may be flaws in some mathematical conclusions that haven't been noticed yet, perhaps in a similar way as Newtonian physics was once accepted as perfect, until it was noticed that a second isn't necessarily a second, a metre not necessarily a metre, and matter was sometimes created or destroyed, etc. But it's the "dreaming" objection that's the most far-reaching, or more broadly I can't absolutely trust the judgement of my own brain, because that would seem to put a speck of doubt into almost everything.

I studied Philosophy of Mathematics in Uni.

One of the exam questions was "Does Math exist naturally, or did people create it?"

I loved that class.
