Just had a conversation in a chat room with a bipolar person. I was suggesting to her to take Vitamin D, saying "you don't need MS with everything you're going through."

And here was her response:

"I got people trying to speak disease and sickness in my life LOW DOWN ****s!"

And it hit me. My late wife came from a family with bipolar and BPD issues, and she would react unpredictably (in my opinion) to certain things I would say. This is an extreme example of this. While she only had depression, there was a little trace of something being a little off although she had nothing warranting any diagnosis. AS with it's unfiltered nature and bipolar with it's unpredictable triggers can be a disaster waiting to happen. Tread carefully, and if in doubt, don't say anything.
