There's only you and me and we just disagree.

That's why I prefer fiction that has moral gray characters. As opposed to black & white morality!

I am the morally gray character. Morality seems to be a very relative thing anyways, especially with various religions having hypocritical moral beliefs

Some people make way too many snap judgments

They see the world in black and white

They act like they are perfect and anything they don't like or understand is bad and wrong

That method of navigating the world, is not bad or wrong. Just oversimplified and unsophisticated. Not suitable for educated adults.

I know what you mean. I find it ironic that lots of things about Aspergers & about Borderline Personality Disorder claim that black & white thinking are symptoms when PLENTY of people in general have very black & white thinking. The so-called experts should start claiming that being hew-mon is a symptom of Aspergers.

I have Asperger's, and I think in a lot of absolutes. I try not to, but it's hard. I identify myself as an "all-or-nothing" type of guy.

Though, I do acknowledge everything between the lines. But I am not fond of cherry-picking, which I think is worse than black-and-white thinking.

I'll take absolutes over cherry-picking any day!
