Full title: Column: Larry Elder is the Black face of white supremacy. You’ve been warned (from LA Times)

Quote:
Opening paragraphs:

Larry Elder smiled the smug smile of a Black conservative who could very well be liberal California’s next governor.

“Where do you start with the damage Gavin Newsom has done to the state that we both love?”

He leaned forward to gaze across the room of white Republicans who had come to a hear him speak in Orange County.

“Rising crime? (It’s) because of this phony narrative that the police are engaging in systemic racism and cops are pulling back,” Elder said. "... When you reduce the possibility of a bad guy getting caught, getting convicted and getting incarcerated, guess what? Crime goes up.”

Then another smile, this one even more smug than the last.

“Can you say, ‘Duh?’”

I won’t lie. Few things infuriate me more than watching a Black person use willful blindness and cherry-picked facts to make overly simplistic arguments that whitewash the complex problems that come along with being Black in America.

And throughout his career — as a radio host, as a talking head for Fox News and now as a gubernatorial candidate — Elder has made a point of doing just that, usually with a lot of taunting and toddler-like name-calling of his ideological enemies in the process.

(etc.)

Isn't it condescending and even racists to assume that all black persons must think the same and therefore cannot have a different point of view as does Mr Elder?

Take this up with the person who wrote that article.

Wow, playing the race card on a black guy, California Democrats must be desperate.

Of the GOP candidates in the recall, the only one I could support is Kevin Faulconer.

It's curious that the focus is on attacking this person, rather than convincing people to vote "no" on the recall, isn't it...

Isn't it racist to say this about Larry Elder?
Why does the left get away with racism when they claim to hate racism?

Elder's former fiancée and longtime radio producer, political activist Alexandra Datig, said he waved a gun at her during a heated argument in 2015, while he was high on marijuana.  He denies this, of course.

Other statements made by Larry Elder:

• "If black America were a country, it'd be the 15th wealthiest nation in the world." (False)

• "74 percent of small-business people believe that Obamacare is a bad idea." (False)

• "Paula Deen supported and campaigned for Barack Obama." (False)

• "Smart women simply overlook some boorish behavior by men.  Off-color jokes and stupid remarks may be irritating, but a smart woman deals with this." (False)

• "Sexual Harassment in the workplace doesn't hold women back." (False)

• "Government should not be intruding into the relationship between an employer and an employee." (False)

• Elder called sexual assault allegations against former President Donald Trump "child's play” during a Fox News interview in 2017.

Larry Elder is a conservative radio talk show host and political commentator.

He is also a misogynistic male supremacist.

Vote "No" on the recall ballot.

Seems like they're calling him an *Uncle Tom*.

There was a very left-leaning racist in here earlier stating that Mr Elder's nieces and nephews referred to him by a name other than his given name, trying to sneak past the site filters on that one...

Luckily the mods cleared it away.

I don't believe they consider it "racism", as they believe they are the "good guys", and so nothing they do can ever be wrong - "The ends justify the means" type of approach...

When the End justifies the Means, any action no matter how abhorrent is OK. That is the problem with the Left, they never examine themselves. They believe that they always occupy the moral high ground and therefore any action is warranted.

At least he's not Gavin Newsom.

↑ While Gavin Newsome is certainly no angel, it would be better for California if a replacement could be found who is not ignorant/uneducated, greedy, sexist, racist, religionist, xenophobic, or prone to wallow in conspiracy theories.  That leaves out most of his opponents in this election, by the way.  The rest are not likely to be elected.

How is it going with the
Oklahoma Governor's Race?

But Larry Elder is black. Isn't it racist to speak ill of him?
