satan is just a guy who gave us knowlege. if it wasnt for him we'd probably still be eating leaves in the forest, wich i wouldnt mind atall exept we wouldnt have computers, sportscards or blackmetal

Satan is a being of effectively pure evil. His existence is necessary to provide evil in the world. Why is evil necessary? How can anyone know true joy if they have never felt pain? If pain and suffering didn't exist, then happiness and joy would simply describe the norm. And how can someone appropriate happiness and joy if they've never experienced anything else?

if God is so great, how does he create a dude he can't control?

what does Satan know that we don't? I mean, here we all are, marching in God's lockstep and this Satan dude is doing what ever the hell he wants? (ha! sorry for the pun, there)

Just goes to show what can be accomplished with a really good PR man(Vatican,Bible,evangelical shouting through TV's).I believe the story goes...God cast Satan down onto earth for denying to bow to him and he is stuck here until Armigedeon?Then I'm not sure what happens,I think I skipped that day in church.But...point is,how bored would Satan be if he didnt intervene in humans lives.How many decades could he spend watching dinasaurs romping without being bored into insanity.He must have been thrilled when God put us here to play with,such amusing little monkeys.
