I looked at the menu -- it's a Columbian and Latin place. Nothing to my liking, but I am a very picky eater.

I couldn't hear it very well standing outside my door. So I took it up another notch or two. So far nobody has come knocking...

My mother and father separated when I was 11.

He left the apartment, and went to his own apartment.

I maintained a good relationship with my father. He came to pick me up once a week, and we would do things like go bowling and ice skating.

I haven't actually bowled in a long time----but wouldn't mind going some day.

The last time I went bowling, you still had to keep your score.

Sometimes, I watch old "Professional Bowlers Tour" clips.

Have you ever done candlepins? I've done duckpins, but not candlepins.

I live in MA...of course I've done candlepin! I don't really like it, but I've done it with the kids who were dying to try it. No, I'm a ten pin bowler through and through.

I did duckpins maybe once or twice in my youth---never after that. It was at a place either in Upstate New York, or Connecticut.

Yep.....I'm a 10-pin man myself!

Fair enough, and probably the decent thing to do. I recall living in an apartment building once with an upstairs neighbor who seemed clueless that anyone else lived in the building at all. She had zero idea what volume control was even at 10pm.

Give it a week or so...see if you can hear neighbors vacuuming. That might give you a better handle on what is or isn't too loud there. Unless, of course you're on the top floor...then everything would be more quiet to you than those below you. Is it a multi story place you're in?

I guess Steve could ask his immediate neighbours if they can hear the music.
Not my way to go, however.

Actually, I did before I became a hardcore hermit. 8)

It wouldn't have occurred to me to go ask. Seems a pretty obvious solution there. Might be my own hermit tendencies creeping in.

So no partner yet?
How far away are you from Steve?
BTW, If you don't mind the extra travel, I'm in Australia.

But yes, I know that is not how you lean. ;)

I wouldn't be worried about the noise.
Cockroaches might be the bigger concern. 8O

Actually, I'm not sure about that, since it might give my detractors pleasure in my departing permanently.
Yes, I am *that* stubborn.

It would be a much shorter list if I tell you who isn't.

It's not being paranoid if it's true. Am I right?

Meh. Sorry there's nothing acceptable on the menu. I get that, there's more places I refuse to eat, than places I will eat. Though I will say that eating meat again has opened up my options some.

And right on. Glad you can get a bit more volume going there minus the concern.
