I had no one to ask this to, is there a safe way to deposit a life insurance checks online instead of a bank? I’m on SSI, can people on SSI still use PayPal? Can they invest money on an investment app? If there not a way to deposit online then I may have to mail my checks. I have an ABLE account for disabled people, I wish you can cash checks there, but you can’t.

USAA bank offers this:

https://www.usaa.com/inet/wc/faq_BankWS ... irect=true

If you are a veteran or child of a veteran in the USA you can get an account with USAA.

If not contact your bank and ask if they have "Deposit at Home" like USAA.

USAA does a very good job with customer support of people far away because they are used to dealing with people in the armed services - they may not even be able to get the the country, never mind the bank.

Sometimes you can use an ATM for deposit also - you might feel this is more secure than mail.

You would have to ask your bank about this option.
